Chronilus looks forward to the pleasure of playing among jolly feral folk for a private Autumn Equinox celebration in Kenmore, WA this Saturday, Sept. 20. Life is good.
We recorded three more songs at Audio Logic Studio in Seattle today. That makes eleven so far for our first full album, Threshold. Life is good when you have an Emmy winner at the mixing console.
According to ticket presales, it looks like we’re going to have a crowd between 200 and 500 people for Chronilus’ May 24 Oso firefighter benefit show with Geoffrey Castle in Stanwood, WA. We are very grateful to this community. Buy Tickets Today!
The GASP (Gothic, Alternative, Steampunk & Progressive) radio show will play a wee bit o’ Chronilus Tuesday, March 18 at 8:00 p.m. UTC, or 1:00 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time for the Chronilus legion of locals. Funny story about our July 18 show at Cafe Zippy in Everett. One of our beloved Chrono-Nut fans and a fine performing musician himself, David Johnson was hanging out at Cafe Zippy one day. KSER Radio was playing in the cafe, and a cool thing caught David’s attention. Our song Longing came up on the radio. David darted up to Zippy’s owner and said something like, “Hey, this is that local band Chronilus I’ve been grooving on for weeks. You need to get them to play here!” The owner paid attention to the radio for a bit and said, “Heck yeah.” So the gig was sort of waiting for us before we even asked. We’re on. July 18 at Cafe Zippy in downtown Everett, WA. Bring friends.
And now the news erupts: Chronilus and Geoffrey Castle will take the stage together for one night! The Everett-based Celtic Fusion band Chronilus will join renowned violin virtuoso Geoffrey Castle to play a benefit concert in Stanwood honoring the firefighters facing the great Oso slide. Proceeds shall go directly to the firefighters, who have been buying essentials like replacement boots out of their own pockets, despite the money flowing into large organizations for the cause. The event will be held Saturday, May 24 from 7:00pm to 10:00pm at the Stanwood High School Performing Arts Center, 7400 272nd ST NW, Stanwood, WA 98292. All our friends can look forward to Facebook event invitations soon! Here’s the event page: https://www.facebook.com/events/1466888173542161/ Here is the direct link for tickets:

It has been too long since you heard from us all, and that’s for good reason…because we’ve been making music and basking in the outpouring of love from you all!! Here’s an update on all the awesomeness that’s been going on:
We have a very successful EP release at SoulFood Books in Redmond. THANKS TO ALL OUR TRIBE WHO ATTENDED! (if you’re reading this…you’re in the tribe 😉 )
Since that day, we’ve been working very hard on new songs to bring you all-and the good news is: we will be performing them for the FIRST TIME LIVE at SoulFood Books (coincidence? I think not) on March 21st at 8PM. Be there or be Bantha Fodder! (oops sorry….that just slipped out). The concert on March 21st is for a GREAT cause. A good friend, and elder in our community has fallen on some very hard times this past year and continues to struggle to make ends meet. 100% of the door cover will go towards our friend (Willow Moon).
Good morning to our wonderful fans! Because of your support, Chronilus has climbed to the #1 spot on ReverbNation this week for Celtic bands in Seattle, and #35 in the US! We appreciate all the love and support along the way as we’ve shared our music with you all. Our EP release will be happening 12/14 at SoulFood CoffeeHouse in Redmond, WA. If you are unable to join us never fear: shortly after the release you will be able to purchase the EP online! All proceeds will go towards funding the release of a full length album, so strap yourselves in tight, it’s going to be a wild ride!
